We are looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to support the Asset Management Operations organisation. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to work with smart and demanding people in a collaborative environment.

As developer in Operations Solutions you will be part of a team consisting of senior developers and business analysts, who work closely together with business users, application owners and other IT teams to deliver solutions of high complexity to our stakeholders and Operations organisation. We all have a role in building the best bank that serves our customers’ changing needs – through innovative solutions, collaboration and partnering with fintechs.
Your future responsibilities
You'll join Operations Solutions where we’re responsible for delivering in-house development towards our Operations organisation. This covers both application development, integration with external/internal systems and reporting solutions, primarily based on our core system SimCorp Dimension. Working in close collaboration with your stakeholders in Backoffice, Middle office, Compliance, AML-team and Fund Accounting, you will have the full responsibility for design, development and test of scalable solutions from initial scoping to implementation and handover.
It is a ongoing journey with continuous new requirements and improvements to our growing suite of complex solutions. Thus, whether you are taking part in a bigger project or adopting smaller change initiatives, you will be taking ownership of the solutions you have developed and pro-actively seek to optimise and retain high quality - also after deployment.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will be part of our Oracle developer group and ensure change initiatives are delivered timely with high quality and in accordance with business needs. Tasks include:
- Working in close collaboration with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert this into technical specifications.
- Development of new solutions and pro-actively optimising existing solutions based on PL/SQL
- Willing to take on other technologies such as BizTalk and SSIS.
- Being a team-player and keen on knowledge sharing with your peers
- Developing C#/.net applications to automate processes
- Technical design and solutions documentation
- Testing and implementation

- Expert PL/SQL and SQL development competencies utilizing Oracle databases
- Experience into Microsoft development tools such as C# / .NET, BizTalk and SSIS is considered a plus
- Good knowledge of GIT
- Data modelling, performance turning and optimization
- Out-going and service minded team player
- Great communication skills and good command of English, oral and written
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension data structures is considered a plus.
- Knowledge from another asset manager or financial institution is a plus
