In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department Global Development Outsourcing Management supports Novo Nordisk development projects in driving the clinical contracting process. Further the department is responsible for supplier management within the clinical area and securing a strong clinical sourcing infrastructure. You will be part of a team of 10 dedicated outsourcing professionals where you will experience a high degree of individual responsibility in an engaging and professional environment. The job As a Senior Outsourcing Manager you will be responsible of driving the clinical outsourcing process in close collaboration with our key Clinical Development Project teams, Corporate Procurement and external suppliers. You will manage preferred supplier partnerships as well as supplier related risks and taking part in integrating the clinical outsourcing strategy in the key development projects. You will be involved in qualification of suppliers by performance of assessment visits in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. You will also take part in the management and development of the global clinical outsourcing set-up. Day to day operation is a varied mix of above responsibilities and includes a high degree of interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. The job is based in Søborg, Denmark but will include some travel. Qualifications You have more than 8 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or clinical research organisation industries. You must also have an excellent understanding of clinical development disciplines as well as a strong and profound track record of supplier interaction from RFP to signed contract. You possess excellent supplier relationship management skills. You have proven abilities to reach ambitious goals involving close collaboration with other professional disciplines and are experienced in handling strategic perspectives in your professional role. You are used to work in international and diverse professional groups, have a strong interest for the business perspective and hold a commercial, analytical and pragmatic mind-set. You have proven strong ability to handle complex tasks and situations across multiple stakeholders and possess excellent project management skills working proactively with a can-do attitude. Your quality mind-set is unquestionable with focus on safeguarding internal and external outsourcing requirements.
