Maersk Oil, Danish Operation, is looking for a senior pipeline engineer for a position in an international and challenging environment in Esbjerg, Denmark, where you will become a member of the Engineering Pipeline Department, Technical Department, a department extending its activities with the opening of a new position. The Pipeline Department of Maersk Oil, Danish Business, provides specialist technical support to other departments and is responsible for the integrity of new and existing riser- and pipeline systems in the Danish part of the North Sea. We Offer A challenging position for a project-oriented and fully qualified senior pipeline engineer, please refer to the below specifications. Key Responsibilities We offer a position with the following key area of responsibility: Development of pipeline concepts and FEED studies. Detailed design of pipelines systems Pipeline design codes and good practice design solutions Re-assessment of pipeline systems Preparation of project specifications and tender documents for all pipeline engineering, procurement and installation activities. Project management within pipeline design and installation activities We expect you to hold relevant experience at senior level and take interest in the majority of the above mentioned technical & project management areas. Who we are looking for We are looking for a candidate with an education as MSc Construction/Offshore Engineering and minimum 6+ years of relevant, professional experience. The right candidate is a result-oriented, out-going and high paced individual thriving with project management of complex projects. Furthermore, you are a team player experienced with pipeline systems, design and project execution and you possess the capabilities as a technical specialist within your technical discipline in order to support other departments and be responsible for the integrity of new and existing riser- and pipeline systems.
