As our new marketing procurement consultant, you will play a key part in the expansion and development of our global marketing procurement function throughout the VELUX Group. You will work with our global marketing programme managers to rationalise our internal marketing procurement processes. We currently have 5 top-priority marketing programmes, and you will be procurement lead on 1-2 of those programmes taking a long-term strategic approach.

Your tasks will also be to:

• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts
• Support data spend analyses and assessment efforts
• Contribute to category strategy development
• Create and strengthen awareness around our marketing procurement services
• Communicate with senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in

You will be working from our HQ in Hørsholm, Denmark, and can expect to travel 15-20 days a year.

Your qualifications

It is imperative that you have strong communication and negotiation skills. You understand the necessity of creating awareness and ensuring buy-in to strengthen our procurement efforts. Do to so, you offer strong and data-based argumentation that will convince even the most senior decision-maker – while your forthcoming nature inspires trust and mutual respect.

• You have 7+ years of experience with international procurement – preferably marketing procurement
• You have experience driving global projects
• You have contract negotiation and management experience
• You have experience with savings calculation and reporting
• You speak and write English fluently
