Product Management > Product Strategy > Product Market Analysis
In a highly competitive and globalised market, Product Management sets the direction for future commercial product offerings, making sure that Vestas always has the right products to stay ahead of competitors while ensuring market access. Product Management has a global reach into our sales regions, including Technical Sales Management who has the responsibility for technical sales and bid management.

In everything we do, we have a commercial and customer oriented approach. We are measured on the impact our products have on Vestas' profitability and the ability to continuously lower the Cost of Energy. We are responsible for aligning the Product Strategy globally across our Sales Business Units to support local market success and in this taking into account the dynamics of the global market for renewables solutions.

In order to lead the products through the value chain and all the way to the market, Product Management cooperates with many stakeholders across Vestas.

Responsibilities
You will be part of the Product Strategy Team with responsibilities of driving the understanding of grid requirements globally and defining related requirements towards Technology. By having a deep understanding of the grid area, strong collaborative skills as well as an analytical mindset, you:

• Drive mapping of grid requirements across current and future Vestas sales markets in short, mid and long-term outlooks and define requirements towards Technology
• Investigate requirements scenarios and developments as well as assess related market impact
• Define and operationalize Vestas strategy on participation in external forums
• Support preparation of gate material and other key deliverables for development projects
• Across these responsibilities, you will have a broad exposure to stakeholders across the globe as well as get to collaborate with several functions both within and outside Product Management

Qualifications

• You hold a M.Sc. or MBA in Electrical Engineering or similar
• You have minimum 7 years of experience working with grid requirements and compliance, ideally within the wind industry
• You are able to understand and bridge both the technical and commercial elements
• You are structured, possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, written and spoken
• You have experience from working in a complex, international company and is used to working across both cultures and time zones

• You have a strategic mindset with ability to comprehend and define future requirements scenarios
• You have a high drive, are curious by nature and motivated by acquiring new knowledge

Additional information
The primary work location is Aarhus, Denmark but travel activities up to approx. 40 days per year must be anticipated.
