In Alfa Laval, we are experiencing global growth and increasing order intake of projects within the area of animal, dairy and vegetable based protein process plants. We are therefore looking for a Senior Project Engineer based in Søborg, Copenhagen. Engineering & Supply (E&S) is a global support organization within Alfa Laval with the purpose of delivering project management and engineering within a wide range of applications and industries. We are a global organization with offices and employees across the world. As Senior Project Engineer in the E&S Protein team, you will be responsible for planning and execution of engineering tasks within large, complex process plant projects, often in the role of lead engineer. Your tasks In cooperation with the project manager and discipline engineers organize and execute the engineering activities for appointed projects. Construct and develop engineered solutions for the projects. Support the design team in creating and developing P&ID’s, layout drawings etc. Refine our technical solutions to the benefit of our customers, while maintaining focus on standardization. Coordinate engineering work with colleagues in Søborg as well as other countries. Be a role model in following our Protein Engineering Workflow and other tools and procedures. Set the good example and drive internal development of processes and tools together with the project team and management. Function as mentor for other project engineer colleagues. Your background You are most likely educated as Mechanical engineer or equivalent. You have several years of experience working on large, complex process plants, Take Leadership and Responsibility. You are a self-driven, systematic, open-minded person who can convert customer requirements into practical workable solutions. Preferable candidate will have experience with project engineering of protein and/or other agro-industrial applications. English skills at negotiation level (written and verbal).
