Senior Project Management Specialist for the development, standardisation and implementation of excellent project management methodologies within offshore wind projects Would you like to take up the challenge of being part of the team responsible for developing and implementing the project model used across our projects in Wind Power? Join us and become our new Senior Project Management Specialist in the Project and Process Improvement department within Wind Power. The department is a part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. You should expect some travelling between our locations in Skærbæk and Fredericia as well as some travelling abroad. Areas of responsibility You play a leading role contributing to the development and implementation of the Wind Power project model, project management methodologies and processes as well as supporting the project managers in leading the projects according to the overall project management framework. Furthermore, you contribute to establishing a project management portal and a competence development programme for project managers. You are responsible for managing your own area within our project management frame work and are a point of contact for the rest our organisation. This involves communication with key stakeholders across the organisation. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •drive the development and maintenance of the Wind Power project model, project management methodologies, tools and processes based on best practice and lessons learnt •drive cross functional Subject Matter Expert network •participate in the development and planning of training courses for Project Directors and Project Managers •execute training in selected areas (typically own area of responsibility) and participate in internal project management audits, assessment and benchmarking •support the project managers in leading projects according to the standardised project management framework, PMI and ISO9001. Our project management framework in Wind Power is based on the PMI project management standard. Your profile You have a relevant master's degree from a technical university or similar and several years of experience within project management of cross-functional strategic projects, preferably within construction/offshore business and a deep understanding of process optimisation and standardisation. In addition, you are a certified Project Manager preferably within PMI (PMP) or IPMA (level B or C) with experience from a Project Management Office department or similar. Our projects bring together various employee groups, nationalities, cultures and authorities, and it is essential that you have excellent communication skills and speak and write English fluently. Furthermore, you have solid facilitation skills and are able to present the results to your colleagues and business partners in a professional way. Using the appropriate interpersonal styles and methods, you are able to guide meetings towards their objectives and modify behaviour according to tasks and individuals.
