The Project Management department is responsible for managing a range of multidisciplinary projects related to the concept, design, development, manufacture, and testing of new technologies and wind turbines. The team takes advantage of Vestas’ matrix organization to deliver innovative products through integrated projects, drawing on a skilled multi-cultural workforce. The Project Management department is also responsible for setting and improving the standards and processes by which the projects are run. Responsibilities: The key responsibilities includes: Drive one point of contact for TSS towards the Vestas & Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Joint Venture company with focus on: Project impact studies, scope and finally secure TSS signoff on quotation for JV requests Secure executing according to scope, timeline and budget Internal TSS stakeholder management and communication on progress and risk Progress reporting and daily communication with JV stakeholders Establishing and maintaining resource plans as well as providing clear overviews for prioritization Be a part of continually developing and implementing best practice project management processes Knowledge sharing and facilitating within SPM Project Management Team Acting as ambassador to a support deployment and implementation of strategy initiatives in a multicultural environment Qualifications: You have proven experience in project management of large / complex / cross-functional international projects + 10 years' experience. Experience from product development projects are an advantage Your able to execute, monitor and control the project by using defined project tools and methods like MS Project Server, SAP and apply project tools and methodologies specified in an approved project management handbook You have solid experience in executing projects using Stage Gate Model philosophy and use a international project management governance principles like Prince2, MSP or similar You have a proven track record of demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must be responsive and willing to take ownership of issues and to drive solutions Competencies: You have a relevant scientific Bachelor or Master degree within engineering. You have a certified Project Management education like Prince2, IPMA or similar.
