The Siemens Energy Service Division is looking for a competent Senior Project Manager to support the Service Renewable business of Siemens Wind Power A/S. This is a position within the Global Supply Chain Department that provides improvement to the general material flow of spare parts. The department supports the global and local supply chain functions. It is newly established in the organization, and you will therefore have a huge influence on developing the job. What are my responsibilities? As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of team of very competent colleagues working with the different supply chain disciplines (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return and Master Data). Each project manager has a responsibility for 1-2 of these areas. This includes: · Facilitating the performance of a roadmap analysis within your distinct area(s) of responsibility. · Defining possibility of improvement to optimize the value streams and secure a much leaner daily operational work. · Turning the defined improvement areas into smaller projects and be responsible for the total management of the project. I.e. planning, initiating and implementing the improvement initiatives globally. · Supporting stakeholders across the entire organization and sharing of best practice for your supply chain area. The international aspect of this position requires occasional travelling. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a Master's degree in Business or other relevant education. · You have 3-5 years relevant business development experience e.g. within a consultancy firm or a larger international company. · You have documented experience in project management. · You are fluent in English - written and spoken and other main languages would be an advantage. · Ideally you have a Black-Belt six sigma education. As a person, you are structured and strong on delivery and implementation. At the same time, you have excellent communication skills and you work well with both colleagues locally in Brande as well as with partners abroad. Finally, you have a strategic and analytical mind-set which you apply to achieve operational excellence in all your endeavors.
