A diverse and engaging work environment You will join Mould Design & Manufacturing which is part of Elements & Moulds in Engineering at LEGO. Here you will lead a project team of 5-8 mould specialists and function as a project manager for novelty projects within design and mould manufacturing. You will be based in Billund, Denmark. Drive project activities and spot improvements in Engineering and Operations As the projects you manage will reach outside Engineering and Billund, you will be working with global stakeholders, and you will be expected to spot and leverage opportunities for process optimization throughout the value chain. Moreover, you will engage with designers, part designers and your own team to understand business objectives and measure feasibility when new product lines need to be developed. Accordingly, you develop plans, manage capacity, finance and risks, and drive all the technical innovation activities in the projects forward to final delivery. In the process, you will be making use of the available production platforms including R&D and be cooperating closely with the designers, part designers and your project team. A key challenge in the position will be to manage the different stakeholders involved as well as your team of highly skilled specialists. You will also be actively looking to improve your own as well as the team's specialist knowledge. This and the role in general also provide you with great opportunity to develop your skills, particularly within project and stakeholder management, and perhaps with time e.g. a people management role. Role modelling our LEGO values and a passion for project management It is essential that you have strong project management skills (5+ years) preferably combined with a great motivation to live our values. You are passionate about leading a project team and you can act as a role model through your words and actions. You also need to have specialist knowledge of the area you will be working in, e.g. of manufacturing, prototyping and/or design. As a person, you enjoy networking internationally and possess good stakeholder management skills. Using your global mind-set, you excel at seeing the big picture and the path to the finish line, yet you are also detail oriented and focused on delivering high quality throughout.
