Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity and the possibility to play a key role in improving performance levels for both existing and future production lines within Novo Nordisk? Then you may be our new Project Manager and ready to join the Project Office in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) where you will be working with ramp-up of new equipment for both capacity build and new products. About the department Our department is located in Hillerød in DMD. Our task is to execute an increasing portfolio of diverse projects across the global production organisation in Novo Nordisk. You will join a dynamic department consisting of 12 dedicated and ambitious Project Managers with various backgrounds striving for excellence within pharmaceutical finished production. The position As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving a project with the ambition to ensure that all new device production lines achieve world class performance levels in order to enable stable, compliant and financially sound production. The main purpose of this project is to improve the ability to ramp up new assembly and packaging lines to their full potential and minimise the time this process take. The project has attention and high priority from top management as the financial potential amounts to 100+ MDKK in savings. Your core responsibilities during the project includes performing the gap analysis, define the future standard for ramp-up, and apply the methodology while being responsible for the next ramp up of one of our device capacity lines. Being responsible for the project, you will interact closely with colleagues from the production; ensure their professional involvement in the project and collecting data as a part of optimising the production lines. Furthermore you will identify and plan the various project activities in relation to bringing new equipment into finished production e.g. define ambitious and realistic targets, secure an organisational structure, build training plans and competencies, set up performance management and incentive structures etc. You should expect approximetly 10-20 travel days in the project initiation- and analysis phases. Moreover, as you will be responsible for the first ramp-up according to the new methodology, and as this ramp up will be at a production site abroad, you should expect longer periods at the local site. This will be planned to fit with both project demand and your personal life. Qualifications You have a strong background as Project Manager or Manager with hands-on shop floor experience in production, preferably with experience with ramp-up, Lean manufacturing and other GMP-regulated production. You hold a MSc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar along with 5 years of work experience from a similar position. On a personal level, you are a self-starter with a strategic mind-set, who thrives with driving tasks independently. You have a structured approach to your work and can handle several processes while prioritising your efforts optimally. Leading others in a project context comes naturally to you and you use your understanding of other people to involve the right competences in the right processes. You have a global mind-set and enjoy building relations across organisational levels and geography. Impeccable communication skills are a must as well as the ability to prepare presentation material of high quality. Lastly, you must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
