Can you lead the project providing an essential new system to busy employees right across the world? About the Department The Quality Projects and Learning team drives the continuous improvement of the Novo Nordisk Quality Management System (QMS), working to make our QMS more robust and simple for the user. Based in Corporate Quality, the department consist of 12 people all with project management or learning development expertise. Our new project management colleague will join us to run a critical IT and business improvement project. As a Senior Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, your project assignments will be among the most strategically important projects in Quality, and IT projects will have top-level priority and support from Novo Nordisk’s senior management. The Job You will lead a project to improve our procedure authoring, distribution and training documentation system with an emphasis on securing processes that are efficient and value adding for users. These are processes which affect all people in Novo Nordisk. To deliver your project you will work in close partnership with Process Experts and Specialists in Quality and with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk globally. You will be on the business side of an important partnership working closely with an IT project manager and with IT and Quality specialists. You will define and deliver the business requirements to the project. You will drive alignment across the business to ensure we achieve an optimal solution for the company. You will ensure the business participates in the project and take responsibility for business-side deliverables. You will be responsible for anchoring the solution and you will support excellent handover through a well- executed go live period. You will shape the business case and follow up KPIs. You will deliver change through well considered global organisational change management activities that ensure our users feel trained, supported, and informed. You will be working with a strong customer focus at all times. As a skilled leader in a project setting and you will motivate the project team to achieve good results and to go the extra mile. As a problem solver you will support project members to find good pragmatic solutions. The project will require well-defined project scope, objectives, and follow up on budget, milestones and benefit realisation. You will report on your project regularly and align with other project managers where needed. Qualifications Our new colleague will have an academic background; such as a Masters degree in Business adminstration, IT, computer science, economics or similar and experience with process re-design and optimisation e.g. LEAN. You will have a good comprehension of IT and a track record of project managing a global project roll out supported by effective organisational change management. For example - six to ten years of experience with project management from an international consultancy firm, a major IT vendor or a major international company. In addition - experience of working with a QMS in a similar regulated industry or in a GMP/GXP environment is not essential but would be an advantage. You are a natural project leader – proactive, structured and systematic. Your colleagues will see you as highly motivated, flexible and friendly, but also persistent and able to get things done. You have the capacity to look ahead as well as the skills to drive necessary consensus agreement to strong pragmatic solutions. You are independent and you have drive and persistence. Your oral and written communication abilities in English will be excellent and you will be confident presenting your project in an inspiring way in a variety of different settings.
