About the department In Device Research, we create highly innovative medical device concepts from early ideation to proven development candidates. We do that by understanding user needs, and matching those with innovative yet robust technology and a desirable business case. We are located in Hillerød, north of Copenhagen, and we look forward to welcoming a new talented Senior Project Manager. The position As Senior Project Manager in Device Research, you will have both project and people responsibility with one or more device innovation projects. You will lead a project team in the technical development of new innovative devices from early idea to project handover to development. This includes delivering a highly innovative, robust device design with an acceptable risk profile and a desirable business case. You will manage a wide range of stakeholders within Novo Nordisk, and manage the right balance between high level of innovation and fast and effective project execution. As a line manager, you will be responsible for the short and long-term motivation of the project team, ensuring and driving high performance and the development of your people. Furthermore, as a member of the Device Research management team, you will contribute to the organisational development of the area through the Novo Nordisk Way. Qualifications We expect you to hold an academic degree within a relevant technical area, e.g. Mechanical Engineering. You must have experience within project management, including a minimum of 2 years of documented experience from cross-organisational projects. Furthermore, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience with one or more of our core competences: technical innovation, integrated product development, patenting activities, etc. Lastly, you are proficient in both spoken and written English. On a personal level, you have good communication skills and are proficient in stakeholder management. You are able to set direction and drive performance, ensuring high quality and high speed. You are a person who is motivated by leadership, innovation, and project management, and who is eager to make a difference in Device Research management team.
