Are you ready to use your project management skills and positively influence our business results in an environment focusing on growth? And do you want to establish true cross-functional teamwork with buy-in from all levels of the organisation? Then you could be our new Senior Project Manager. At Danfoss Electric Heating Systems, you will be part of our product development and project organisation, closely linked to our business development. The job will be based in Vejle, and you will report to the Product Development Director. The position entails approx. 10-30 travelling days per year. Cross-functional project management You will be responsible for new product development projects and complex business development projects. Your objective will be to lead cross-functional and matrix product development teams from business proposal and until products are launched on the market with focus on timely completion, meeting market goals, and functional requirements. This means that you will organise, lead, and motivate the project team – consisting of external as well as internal team members – and create clear and attainable project targets. Communication with and involvement of customers, management, and other stakeholders about progress and deliveries is essential. You will manage time, cost and quality in order to meet business objectives and facilitate structured problem solving, thus mitigating risks. One of your success parameters is your ability to deliver on the defined milestones and to enable a high performance level in the project team. Strong project manager with commercial interest You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree within business administration, engineering, marketing or the like, topped with experience from a similar position. Being an experienced project manager, you master all the basic project management tools. Moreover, you thrive on being an indirect people leader and have a proven ability to motivate your colleagues to be at their best and lead by example in order to deliver on common results. You work persistently to get things done and achieve your goals, and you possess the cooperation skills to develop solid relations – also with external partners. You have business acumen, a global mind-set, and are comfortable in an environment which requires the ability to both challenge and support your business partners, at all levels of the organisation. At the same time, you need to be able to communicate with colleagues of various professions and cultures as you will be operating at multiple organisational levels and countries.
