Are you an experienced reservoir engineer looking for an exciting and challenging career opportunity? Join us and become a Senior Reservoir Engineer in E&P Subsurface which is responsible for subsurface evaluations within E&P Denmark. Work includes evaluation of new business opportunities, near-field exploration, appraisal planning, field development planning, unitisations and production operations. Work is generally carried out in integrated, multi-disciplinary teams organised by asset / licenses. The department is a part of Exploration & Production which has 700 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious growth strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte north of Copenhagen. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Your primary work tasks will be support for assets and business units across DONG E&P as required. You will participate in technical assurance including peer assists, peer, gate and reserves reviews. Furthermore, you will participate in relevant technical networks and coach within your area(s) of expertise. You will conduct volumetric, material balance, fluid flow and well productivity analyses as well as perform reservoir heterogeneity and characterisation. Your profile As a minimum, you have a master's degree in engineering with a relevant specialisation. You have extensive relevant experience within the upstream O&G business in different technical environments. You preferably have some working experience with an operator as well as senior level experience with North Sea chalk/tight oil in Design/Execute and Produce/Maintain stages. You are also able to provide consistent and detailed discipline analysis, collect and analyse discipline information required for execution of the task as well as contribute to knowledge sharing in relevant discipline including development of procedures and tools. You can work independently within most of the following areas: •Volumetric analysis •Material balance analysis •Reservoir heterogeneity and characterisation •Fluid flow and well productivity analysis •Fluid displacement analysis •Reservoir simulation history matching for performance analysis and production forecasting •Reservoir surveillance and management •Fluid properties •Reservoir rock properties •IOR/EOR •Reserves estimation You have good analytical and communication skills.
