Would you like to help us manage and execute our project risk management philosophy across our expanding portfolio of wind projects?

 

Join us and become Senior Risk Specialist in our Risk Management department, which is part of Wind Power Project Management Support, where you’ll be responsible for driving risk management and implementing standardised processes in our offshore wind projects along with your colleagues. As a member of our team, you’ll be seconded to one of our offshore wind farm projects as part of the Project Management team.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• prepare risk a management plan and strategy for the project and implement and drive risk management in compliance with our policies
• implement and manage the processes of risk management: Plan risk management, identify risks, perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, plan risk responses and monitor and control risks
• prepare risk reports and analyses to support management in decision making
• set up projects risk register, the response plan templates and other documentation
• train risk owners in risk management and proactively work in the project teams to develop risk mitigation actions aiming to reduce project risk exposure.

 

In addition, you’ll identify best practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools and templates and communicate the risk strategy within the project and to senior management. You’re able to undertake risk modelling using Monte Carlo simulations with regard to providing CAPEX, OPEX, regulatory and lifetime structures as well as price structures.

 

Your competences include that you

• have a relevant bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or other degree providing a strong foundation in statistics or decision theory
• are a competent risk management professional with competences equivalent to PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional)
• have some relevant work experience from the wind industry or the construction industry and experience from a similar position and from working in a project matrix organisation
• speak and write English fluently and have excellent communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward way
• have a systematic approach to your work and are able to deliver high-quality solutions using the appropriate tools and competences.

 

Furthermore, you have a flair for working with complex analytical issues and you’re excellent at building relationships, communicating, influencing and providing leadership, which enables you to create results through teamwork, as a member of a global and virtual team.
