We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to work with our team of highly skilled colleagues. We develop software products, designed to solve problems that get a great deal of attention in the press. Secunia’s state-of-the-art software has a growing customer base within an expanding business, where a fast pace of product development and maintenance is essential. Being a software developer at Secunia means working with interesting and technical challenges in your everyday work. Our software is centered in cloud solutions with software as a service. The technologies are mainly PHP, C++, Apache, MySQL, MariaDB and Linux and we expect you to be proficient and experienced in at least a couple of these. Qualifications You have professional experience and programming skills matching your profile as a Senior Software Developer, as well as an education in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Qualifications must include: Strong programming skills using tools and languages commonly used in the cloud, such as PHP or Python. A solid background in Linux, Apache, MariaDB systems design. Experience in developing high-performance, high-availability cloud applications. Knowledge of secure programming practices (or a strong desire to learn them). A theoretical background in software design and development. The ability to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written). Danish is not mandatory. A passion for good software design and high quality. Experience with agile development methods or Scrum is a plus.
