We are offering you the opportunity to join a Nordic team of highly skilled and experience employees that are acknowledged as an agile and highly professional sourcing team. The position we offer Strategic Sourcing is a department within IT Sourcing and we specialise in running large and complex sourcing projects for IT solutions across the Nordea Group. We are organised according to categories and we are 29 people located in teams in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Gdynia. Your role will be to manage large high impact sourcing projects across several categories in Nordea. Including driving the sourcing process, negotiation and re-negotiations led by you and/or in cooperation with our Category Manager’s and Sourcing Managers. The target of these projects is to support the efforts to achieve the most 'value for money' from Nordea's IT suppliers, which is imperative to maintaining Nordea’s competitive edge to our peers. You will be working collaboratively with suppliers and Nordea stakeholders to identify and execute sourcing projects. As a Senior Sourcing Manager you will engage with executive management and team members to drive and communicate proposals and progress. You will be working in a dynamic team with ambitious professionals and play a part in shaping Nordea’s future in IT sourcing. The qualifications you need The ideal candidate is a senior project- or sourcing manager in IT with good communication and cooperation skill’s. He/she possesses strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills. You possess a good knowledge of contracting trends, software licensing models, and traditional and emerging contract and vendor performance models. Up-to-date IT knowledge is a prerequisite. Past experience of a Sourcing Tool is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. We expect that you have excellent skills in communicating with stakeholders in IT, legal, procurement and business leaders. You will craft sourcing solutions that align complex needs with contractual requirements in order to achieve business outcomes. Ability to understand contractual risks and to work with other parts of the organization crafting tactics and strategies for risk mitigation is also an area of importance. You must demonstrate structured analytical capabilities in your approach to problem solving, with a focus on working in a team environment with attention to results and a sense of urgency. Efficient decision making and the ability to reach decisions that add value are critical for us in what can be tight time frames. Above all you are able to demonstrate clarity of communication, internally and externally. You demonstrate drive and commitment and enjoy working in cross-functional and intercultural teams with ambitious goals. You hold a master degree and are fluent in oral and written English.
