Global QSE is a production unit in Vestas Wind System. We produce the house of the wind turbine; inside is the power plant. Our Headquarter is located in Arhus, Denmark. Our staff function, called Global QSE has the overall responsibility for the management systems and day to day operations in relation to Quality, Safety and Environmental in the whole company. We are looking for a Director to lead the Platform QSE Assurance team and all activities related to launch of new products, technology projects and technical transfer between our manufacturing locations. Responsibilities: Ensure approval of requirements, scope and AQPs on sub- value-chain level for the project. Ensure the execution and result of QSE activities for the assigned projects. Ensure approval of items (and assemblies) for prototypes. Ensure release for prototypes, 0-series and serial production. Ensure gate and safe launch recommendations to Platform QSE Leader and project stakeholders. Drive continual overview of quality & safety performance for the project. Identify potential Quality problems and noncompliance issues and to ensure the risk handling activities are planned and invoked to eliminate, mitigate or control these risk. Single contact for QSE in the project core team and ensuring alignment between quality line organization and project organization. Accountable for the overall QSE readiness in the project. Qualifications: Bachelor/master degree in Engineering, Quality, HSE or equivalent. Minimum 10 years work experience with Quality Assurance - APQP practical execution. You have strong knowledge in the Tools of the Quality (FMEA, PPAP, Sample collection, SPC) and international quality standards. Auditor experience, lead auditor certification in Process audits is a plus. Deep knowledge in QSE assurance methods and processes.
