COO Finance is a team in Vestas Group Finance responsible for all finance business partnering, controlling, reporting and budgeting activities in Vestas Manufacturing, QSE and Global Procurement. We support factories across the globe through our matrix organisation and business partnering role, and we consolidate and report financial statements and forecasts to group reporting and senior finance management.
You will work closely with multiple finance departments and stakeholders in Group reporting, Financial planning, Financial Shared Service Centre, and senior management in COO Finance. Doing so, you get the opportunity to voice your ideas and translate them into improvement projects that you will drive and participate in. Your main responsibilities will be to perform financial consolidation and reporting to senior finance stakeholders and take lead on projects to improve reporting and controlling processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform and lead consolidation and reporting of COO Financials to Group Finance management
- Prepare monthly and quarterly COO Finance reports
- Coordinate and plan monthly and yearly financial reporting and budget processes
- Participate in improvement projects and continuous improvement forums
- Lead and facilitate ad-hoc inquiries from Group Finance functions & COO management
- Provide advice on financial reporting topics
Qualifications
- 7+ years of work experience within Finance, preferably within auditing and/or financial reporting and consolidation in a complex and global environment
- A degree in finance, auditing or similar
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, budgeting, planning & audit
- Knowledge of and experience with manufacturing finance is an advantage
- Experience with SAP, BI and consolidations systems
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and fluency in English
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills
