Vestas Wind Systems A/S - Global Sourcing - Global Indirect Sourcing Global Indirect Sourcing is leading the change within Vestas to drive "the cost out" effort on all non-product related purchases. E.g. travel, company cars, office equipment and all manufacturing indirect items. Within Global Indirect Sourcing, sits Operational Suppliers which is responsible for the management of all spends associated to Consumables, Packaging & Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) that are consumed globally by Vestas. Responsibilities: You'll be reporting directly to the Vice President of Indirect Sourcing. Your role will be to take the strategy for Operational Supplies to the next level globally. You will act as a lead negotiator on projects across the globe and will get the opportunity to deliver real change. It will be your responsibility to act as a commercial expert with responsibility for sourcing and negotiation processes and conduct supplier relationship management. You will have to manage and align with key stakeholders across Vestas to prepare and adhere to negotiation strategies, category strategies and commercial sourcing processes. Your responsibilities: Lead team with a Vestas holistic view, in order to secure category is at the forefront of the development Manage the negotiation process for the category and deliver total cost of ownership supporting profitability Manage the development and implementation of the category supply base that supports business strategies Build supply market intelligence and ensure that supply base data is available to support business decisions Improve and balance commercial aspects (price and volume) and technical capabilities to enable the optimisation of the business on both short and long term. Develop and maintain all relevant internal relations to stakeholders Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate that have: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in similar position Academic degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience from relevant industry Excellent analytical skills, combined with the ability to maintain a critical and yet simple overview from a strategic perspective. Financial understanding, strong negotiation and project management skills Strong interpersonal skills and possess a highly development-oriented customer mind-set Structured, systematic and good understanding of business processes You are self-motivating, extremely result oriented, always raising the bar for yourself and encouraging your peers to follow, and you have a strong cross functional understanding. You communicate and sell your ideas effectively and have the ability to work cooperatively with various stakeholders, colleagues, and management.
