Job Description

At Danfoss Cooling, our mission is to keep people, products and the planet cool. With a wide range of products and solutions, including compressors, valves, sensors, electronics, pumps and heat exchangers, we help our customers put energy efficiency and a sustainable approach first, as we are engineering tomorrow’s cool planet.  Do you have proven experience with logistic and supply chain processes, strong functional and project management skills to provide the foundation for innovative solutions around logistic challenges?  Do you have already worked with advanced technologies & IT methods around data analytics and digital solutions? Currently we are looking for Senior Specialist – Logistics, who will be a part of our global team.

You will research, develop and implement new methodologies and techniques around Supply Chain topics that enable superior business performance. As a member of our global company you can be located in Denmark – Nordborg, Kolding, Poland – Grodzisk Mazowiecki or Germany – Hamburg. 
 
Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive and implement Logistics applications and solutions regional & global
  • Strong functional and project management skills
  • Continuous Improvements to secure business targets
  • Develop & drive concepts around SC analytics and digitalization solutions
  • Cooperation across several functions & disciplines
  • Steering & Controlling implementation

 
Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experiences in international industry environment
  • Academic degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, Computer Science or Statistics
  • Good foundation on overall Supply Chain or direct related disciplines
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Strong base on SAP & ERP systems
  • Foundation in Supplier Logistics Flows and methods
  • Experience in Data Analytics and digitalization solutions, preferable around Supply Chain
  • Knowledge around advanced IT methods & Big Data applications   
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to experiment with new emerging technologies
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization
  • Passion for problem solving              
  • Fluent in English
