DONG Energy is on a journey from a Danish utility to an international energy group. Towards 2020, we have defined a focused strategy, aimed at organic growth of the company. To support our ambitions financially, DONG Energy has recently completed a major equity injection by Goldman Sachs, ATP and PFA. As part of the equity injection, the Danish State and the new investors have agreed to pursue an initial public offering (IPO) of the company. Areas of responsibility To support our journey, we are seeking a colleague to join our Corporate Strategy team in the position as Senior Strategy Associate. Together with your colleagues, you support the CEO and Group Management in defining and executing DONG Energy's strategy and corporate transformation. You work as an internal consultant, and you support group-wide initiatives as well as business unit-specific projects. Furthermore, your primary areas of responsibility are to: •drive the processes related to and support the formulation of our portfolio strategy •scope and drive strategic projects •perform analyses to support projects •bring new ideas and perspectives from research on markets, technologies and competitors •prepare presentations for executive management. Your profile You will have a master's degree in economics, finance, engineering or similar education with top grades, combined with solid industry relevant experience and/or management consulting. In addition, your core competences include that you: •are a team player with good relationships skills and the ability to work in a collaborative manner •have structured problem-solving skills and a strong analytical approach •have experience in project management with the ability to scope and work independently •have a strong skill set in oral and written communications. You will report to the Head of Corporate Strategy, Jesper Haarh. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area.
