Join the department Supplier Account Management (SAM) where we are globally responsible for developing the relationship with direct suppliers to Grundfos. Our Supplier Account Managers are located in Denmark but work across locations in Europe, USA, Thailand and China. You will be part of the Electronics Team with 5 dedicated colleagues, and you refer to Supplier Management Manager Hanne Schmidt Larsen

What is the job about?

As Supplier Account Manager, you are responsible for suppliers and supplier performance in the categories of Active, Passive and Power components.

You will be part of a function where you will be the link between many stakeholders internally and externally. You will develop your own supplier portfolio and be responsible for cost out, supply chain performance and deliveries in development projects. You will be working closely together with our Sourcing Managers, plants, NPI, Supply Chain and the Development & Engineering organisation, which will take you travelling around 30 days per year.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Development of supplier performance on quality, delivery and lead-time
• Secure on time deliveries in development projects of approved parts through solid project management
• Improve supply chain set-ups
• Identification and implementation of cost out ideas
• Implementation of contracts
• Building and implementing supplier relations strategies

"We have split Category Management into the 2 segments: Sourcing and Supplier Account Management. By doing this, we will gain a lot of advantages including strengthening our supply chain focus in the account organization," Hanne explains.

What do you need to apply?

You have a higher commercial or technical background or preferably a combination of the two. Additionally, you have 3-5 years of experience with supply chain, NPI, purchase or similar. Ideally, you have knowledge about Active, Passive and Power components.

You speak and write English fluently and preferably have a good command of German.

"As a person, you are goal-oriented as we are becoming even more performance-oriented. Furthermore, it is important that you are able to challenge ideas and processes. As you will touch base with many different stakeholders on all levels within and outside the organization, you must be an excellent communicator and relationship builder," Hanne finishes
