At Vestas, Service SIOP (Sales, Inventory Operations Planning) we are constantly optimizing the supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, and at the same time have an optimized supply chain with low inventory and efficient set up. It is an ever developing task in a fast paced environment. Global Service, Supply Chain Operations, Service SIOP You will join the Concept & Footprint team that is a department within Service SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning). Concept & Footprint is a newly established function, with the responsibility to define and optimize network setup, delivery concepts and footprint within the service supply chain on global scale first and foremost to meet customer requirement. We are looking for a structured, independent and theoretical as well as practical well founded senior specialist to join the Concept & Footprint team. Responsibilities: As our service business is growing and our market requirements are becoming more demanding, we are continuously adapting our supply chain which means delivery concepts, network and footprint optimization is both dynamic and key area. This brings complex cross-organizational initiatives to be developed and implemented within the service supply chain. Your task would be: Create and deliver solutions/model(s) to define and optimize optimal network setup to meet customer expectations Develop processes to maintain and keep optimized setup Create and drive reporting package on monthly basis Drive scenarios, simulations and business cases to secure a continuous optimization with focus on P&L as well as cash flow Identify improvement areas compared to best practice and global standards, and specify actions to improve Qualifications: We expect candidates to have: M.Sc., HD or B.Sc. degree within Logistics, SCM, Finance or similar Minimum 5-10 years of experience from a global relevant function Preferably experience from a global supply chain function within a production and/or project environment. Hands on experience with lean and pull systems Solid knowledge and experience with supply chain initiatives, conceptualization and implementation Solid process, system and financial knowledge Competencies: Professional skills: Lean Six Sigma green/black belt is an advantage Personal skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Danish is advantage but not a requirement. Working style is very well structured, precise and excellent analytical skills. Ability to communicate complex supply chain information in a simple and transparent manner Desire and ability to operate in a complex Supply Chain Good system and business understanding Proactive, flexible and self-driven Enjoy variety and changes in your everyday Computer skills: Experience with ERP-systems/SAP is an advantage.
