Would you like to lead projects for qualifying cutting-edge wind turbine technology focusing on product and supply chain maturity assessment? Join us and become Senior Technical Project Lead in the Wind Turbines – Risk & Technology Assessment team. We are responsible for evaluating technical risks, benefits and improvement potential of new wind turbine concepts. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Senior Technical Project Lead, you will lead projects focusing on assessing the risks related to maturity and supply of new wind turbines, from evaluation of turbine and supply chain development to follow-up on sub-supplier qualification and logistic plans. Your project team consists of specialists from several parts of the organisation. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •define project scope together with colleagues •manage project time and cost •manage project communication and stakeholder management and interface with supplier •write and quality assure parts of the risk assessment reports •participate in the development of risk assessment methodologies. Your profile You hold a master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management or similar. You have sound knowledge of and skills within supply chain management, technology qualification and risk analysis. You are a strong project manager with experience in leading complex projects. Knowledge of wind turbine technology is an advantage but not a requirement. You are self-driven, positive and outgoing, and you enjoy a dynamic work environment. In the projects, you will cooperate with colleagues with varying backgrounds and across different organisational levels. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are therefore key to succeed in this position. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently.
