Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world.  To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we’re looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to work as part of our User Experience team located in Copenhagen. 

 

Position Summary:

We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Experience thinker. One, who lives and breathes design, has an intuitive understanding of the user’s needs, and knows what it takes to push an experience as far as it can go.

You’ll be a part of the experience team and work closely with other user experience designers, researchers, visual designers and front-end developers as well as product managers, back-end developers and architects in various project teams.

You love to innovate and have an appetite for trying out new methods and processes and take the experience design of our work to the next level.

 

 Role and responsibilities:

• Participate in a range of product design projects making anything from setting direction to specifying and making it happen in wireframes and journeys.
• Review key projects thoroughly to make sure experience aspects have been addressed and aligned with the specifications
• Work closely with designers, researchers, product managers, developers, subject matter experts, customers and partners to make the user experience a competitive differentiator
• Stay up-to-date on current and emerging trends, standards, and research and be a constant advocate for great experience design

 Job qualifications: 

• At least five years’ experience as a User Experience Designer with an impressive portfolio full of work that sets the bar in terms of ideas and craft
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices, particularly as applied to web- and mobile-based applications
• Great communication skills in english, highly enthusiastic and always collaborative, team oriented and fun to work with
• Ability to put together both short and long-term experience plans, that are aligned with our strategy, vision and roadmap
• Hands-on experience with digital platforms beyond the browser – mobile, multi-touch, widgets, desktop software, UI components and controls
• Attention to details and and being able to organized information and
• visualize your designs through storyboards, wireframes, task flows, and prototypes to meet each stage of development
