In this role, you will be responsible for continuing the development of an in-house developed enterprise operational risk platform. The operational risk area is evolving at a fast pace, and the technical platform is a strong key in ensuring that we can keep up with the changing environment. The position we offer As a Senior web developer you will be part of Oprisk Framework & Support under Wholesale Banking Operational Risk Management. In Oprisk Framework & Support we are instrumental in ensuring Wholesale Banking is able to manage its operational risk. We do this by developing and maintaining a web-based enterprise risk management portal called CORE Portal (Combined Operational Risk Environment). It provides an interface to the different operational risk disciplines, and is developed in strong collaboration with the rest of Wholesale Banking Operational Risk Management. This close collaboration is one of the main benefactors to the success of the solution. As a Senior Web Developer in Oprisk Framework & Support, you will be working in a small and agile cross-border development team. This gives you a unique chance to do development in all layers of our technical stack, from the database to the front-end, including some of the latest open-source frameworks. In addition to this, you will be part of gathering requirements and specifying solutions in collaboration with stakeholders from business, as well as the rest of our team. We adhere to the agile principles of Scrum, and usually structure our work around 2-week sprints. The qualifications you need You are an experienced developer, able to cover the full aspect of an application from back to front. Experience with HTML5, Javascript, CSS3, Java and SQL is a prerequisite. Practical experience with AngularJS, Jasmine, Bootstrap, Spring MVC, JUnit, JPA and Oracle PL/SQL is an advantage. You are a team player understanding the importance of communication when being part of a cross border team, but can still design, test and develop a solution independently. English is our working language and the language used on our platform, so you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
