We are looking for a highly experienced Wind Turbine Specialist who can actively provide clients and colleagues with expert advice on all engineering aspects of wind turbines (onshore and offshore) throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical advice and support to clients, due diligence and design reviews
As Senior Wind Turbine Specialist your area of responsibility will be to:
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and ensure optimal solutions
- Conduct technical due diligence reviews to support investors and lenders
- Prepare detailed reports of design reviews and project documentation assessment
- Lead or participate in meetings and conference calls with lenders, investors, developers, contractors, and engineers regarding technical documentation and construction issues
- Conduct WTG tender reviews and provide recommendations
- Review turbine supply and warranty contracts on behalf of clients
- WTG and associated technology reviews to ensure that our knowledge is kept up to date
- Inspection of WTG’s prior to hand over and certify construction completion of specific parts for milestone payments.
WTG engineer with experience from renewable energy projects globally
You hold a relevant scientific degree combined with at least 5 years of WTG engineering experience from development of wind turbines. In addition, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
- Recent knowledge of at least one of the following specialist areas: Pitch systems, bearings, gearboxes or yaw systems
- Experience of delivering renewable energy projects with focus on the WTG package
- Experience in writing and reviewing reports for clients
- Ability to collect, analyse and act upon complex and diverse information from a variety of sources and provide advice for decision making on project level
- Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to explain technical issues to non-engineers.

You have a structured and analytical approach to your assignment, an eye for details while at the same demonstrating a great overview. You are cooperative and a dedicated team player, and your diplomatic skills and honesty are requirements in a multi-cultural organization with high ethical standards.
