NNIT is looking for a Senior Windows Server Consultant with experience from a service provider or large enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate enjoys participating in projects for NNIT’s existing and new customers, actively pursues new business opportunities, has strong communication skills, is a true team player with a commitment to success, and will be able to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly-changing environment. Your responsibilities You will be part of our Infrastructure Platform Projects team which is working closely together with our Server Design and Server Operations team, handling more than 7,500 Windows servers for more than 45 customers. Your main responsibilities will be: •Manage successful completion of projects, on-time, within budget and with high customer satisfaction •Be aware of and strive to realize customer desired business outcomes •As the client's trusted advisor, identify and pursue additional opportunities to expand our business with the customer •Provide pre-sales technical support, including completing technical aspects of the proposal/statement of work •Transfer knowledge to customers and colleagues as part of the delivery •Mentor less experienced colleagues •Share ideas with colleagues, customer, etc. Your will be a part of our Infrastructure Platform Projects team The Infrastructure Platform division consists globally of 70+ employees that are skilled in Server Services, Database Services, Backup and Storage Services and are offering both service design as well as operational and consultancy support. In the projects team we are around 15 colleagues in DK, China, The Czech Republic and the Philippines with a special focus on project delivery. We work closely together with our colleagues in Service Design and Operations. We encourage cooperation between project participants and service architects by being seated in service groups instead of organizational teams. Your qualifications and experience You have minimum 5 years of experience with implementation and operation of Windows Server OS in a service provider or large enterprise infrastructure. Operational stability is a priority for NNIT and our customers and documented experience with solution design, implementation, documentation and quality in hand-over to operations is therefore a requirement. You have a Windows OS 2008 and/or 2012 certification or similar level of knowledge and experience. We expect you to have basic knowledge about other technologies, such as Backup, VMware, network etc. It is an advantage – but not a requirement – if you have experience with some of the following areas: Cloud Infrastructure Services, automation and scripting, clustering and Internet Information Server. You have the courage and ability to seek new business opportunities with existing customers, thus generating new projects for yourself and your colleagues. Other qualifications You will be in contact with many people, inside as well as outside NNIT’s organization. Your personal skills are hence important to us. You will work with project managers, service delivery managers, service owners, and technical specialists in NNIT and stakeholders in our customers’ organizations. You must therefore work independently and show initiative with minimum supervision. You have a positive and problem solving attitude and a business-oriented way of thinking. You quickly learn new technology and apply it appropriately in business situations. You must be a good colleague, i.e. a strong team player who enjoys working in a fast paced team atmosphere.
