Our team of passionate and highly skilled people in Søborg is growing and we are looking for a skilled and experienced Server Virtualization Specialist working within VMware VSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V related projects and assignments.   

Your responsibilities as Server Virtualization Specialist

You will be part of the Infrastructure & Platform Services Team in Søborg. Infrastructure & Platform Services is a global team hence you will have a daily interaction with colleagues located in Denmark, Czech Republic, China and the Philippines. We are a full-stack build team who is responsible for all project related assignments, service and change requests, building agreed design solutions and handing over to our Global Operations team. 

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Participating into both customer and internal projects.  
• Participating into customer on-boarding, transition and transformations.  
• Solve assigned incidents, implement changes and troubleshoot complex technical issues.  
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as operation manuals, technical procedures, guidelines and project documentation.
• Handing over documentation to our Global Operations team and briefing them.  

You will be part of a highly skilled team

You will work with highly skilled colleagues in Søborg as well as globally. Besides of VMware and Hyper-V, you will also have colleagues around the world whom are specialized within Windows, Unix/Linux/AIX/Solaris, Storage, Backup, Oracle, SQL and Network. This gives a huge opportunity to work with professionals where you can broaden your technical knowledge, exchange ideas, collaborate and develop your technical skills.

Your qualifications

You have minimum 4-6 years of work experience either within VMware VSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. You are passionate about server virtualization technologies and would like continue to work and develop your technical skills. You are experienced in various Backup, SAN, Storage, Network and Hardware Technologies. It is a plus if you hold VCP or MCSE certificates.   

Furthermore it is an advantage if you have:  

• Experience with Clustering   
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting   
• Experience with scripting and automation (i.e. PowerShell)   
• Experience with Windows 2008/2012/R2/ 2016 Administration  

You have an understanding of the ITIL framework and are used to working with Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.  

You communicate well in English; both oral and written (English is our corporate language)
