Vestas Global IT is going through an interesting transformation to become more business aligned and value driven. Leveraging deliveries from outsourcing partners is an integrated part of this transformation. In order to strengthen and improve our outsourcing of application development and application maintenance & support we see a need to engage a service delivery manager to monitor and improve deliveries and services from our outsourcing partner (HCL). You will navigate in an exciting field between an internal application team and an outsourced delivery organization, using your stakeholder management skills to succeed. Global IT, BESS, Center of Expertise The Center of Expertise (CoE) ensures that business IT services and related solutions are appropriately designed, developed and optimized across their lifecycle and that the integrity of IT solutions is safeguarded. When IT developments are handled by outsourcing partners CoE interacts with sourcing partners / external vendors on development activities and related governance to ensure quality in the delivery and safeguarding of existing solutions. CoE ensures continuous improvement and utilization of IT applications in order to maximize value and reduce risk. Responsibilities: Ensure that the outsourcing vendor's performance meets its contractual service-level commitments Monitor SLA's and KPI's to identify problems and take appropriate action to correct failed activities, functions and processes Guide activities to maintain and enhance the gains achieved through outsourcing partner Participate in process and governance improvements Performance management and reporting to tactical & strategic foras Managing the relation with sourcing partner as a single point of contact Managing internal and external stakeholders in relation to the deliveries from the sourcing partner Initiate improvements to the overall engagement to the benefit of Vestas and sourcing partner - be it commercially, process or other aspects. Definition of delivery processes or mechanisms where these are not described or do not suffice. Handling changes to the Service Level Agreement as the engagement changes over time Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have: Min. 5 years of experience from similar position(s). Experience as a Service Delivery Manager is an advantage but not an ultimate requirement Master degree in IT, Business Administration or similar Deep understanding of application development, application management and support processes Experience with outsourcing governance and business models Project management experience Cross cultural understanding (DK, IN, PH) Competencies: Ability to manage projects and deliveries Ability to collaborate and communicate professionally with vendor, contract managers and other GIT stakeholders Ability to analyze the performance and initiate appropriate corrective actions Ability to drive and lead with the goal in focus High degree of flexibility in order to adapt to an ever-changing environment Problem solving-oriented attitude Self driven but also enjoy the benefits of working in a team Challenge and ask questions to processes and surroundings What we offer: You will have the opportunity to work in a challenging mediator/facilitator between an internal IT organization and an outsourcing partner.
