For our Service division of Siemens Wind Power, based in Brande, we are looking for a talented engineer to be a part of a highly dedicated team developing the future condition monitoring systems for our fleet of wind turbines. The Diagnostic Centre is responsible for the surveillance and diagnostics of our wind turbines on a worldwide scope. As a consequence, the department also handles the operation and maintenance of the group’s hardware (computers and servers). What are my responsibilities? As a condition monitoring expert in our Vibration Diagnostic department you will be responsible for analyzing vibrational data coming in from our fleet of more than 10.000 turbines. You will be a part of a team shaping the future of wind turbine diagnostics and you will through close cooperation with our developers contribute to the continuous development of new diagnostic models, based on the expert knowledge you gain from analyzing data from the turbines. In this work you will be in contact with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. More specifically, your work assignments will cover: · Optimization and development of existing measurement tools based on theoretical and statistical data · Reporting and communicating with customers via our database tools · Development of diagnostic models and analysis methods · Conducting root cause analyses · Responsibility for specific investigations linked to the root cause analyses of our wind turbines What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have 1-4 years of technical experience within the fields of signal processing, mechanical engineering, machinery dynamics, acoustics, vibration and/or diagnostics or similar · You have knowledge based of condition monitoring and vibration diagnosis · You have an orientation for a daily focus on analysis and IT development · You have, preferably, experience with programming in Python (or other programming similar languages) · You are highly result-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team · You feel naturally driven to build and maintain good and rewarding relationships · You hold excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
