The ServiceNow Business Analyst is in charge of identifying and capturing requirements from business stakeholders and translating them in to a format that can be used by the development and testing teams. Additionally, they should assist stakeholders to identify any gaps in processes and propose new ways of working aligning to industry best practices and business ways of working.

Key responsibilities
- Work with the business to understand new business requirements and translate them into detailed functional & non-functional requirements in the application development process
- Carrying out business process mapping, business process re-engineering and business process analysis wherever needed
- Liaising with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood
- Managing and mitigating risk due to changes
- Reviewing testing approach and materials, assisting in creation of UAT scenarios and training materials
- Assisting in issue resolution
- Coordinating and prioritising requirements with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Creating Compelling Business Cases of simple to moderate complexity.
We are looking for
Essential:
- The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of Business Analysis experience
- Able to demonstrate use of Business Analysis methods and techniques in including Business Process mapping and Requirements Elicitation
- Demonstrate working practices with stakeholders to understand requirements and identify gaps
- An understanding of where business analysis fits into delivery methodologies including inputs and outputs
Desirable:
- Any other ITIL capability certification
- Any Business Analysis Certifications
- Any Prince2/Scrum/Agile Certifications
- Any ServiceNow Certifications
- Experience with BA tools and techniques
- Experience with testing
- Experience with SDLC/SCRUM and PRINCE2 as a delivery methodology
- Experience with System integrations and how to tie a process around such integrations
- Experience with developing Business Processes
- Highly motivated with sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and structured
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Results-oriented
