Shipping Coordinator.
Follow your projects and orders from contract to delivery. In the role you use your global export experience to ensure that deliveries to our customers, are managed on time and within budget, according to contract at hand.
About the role
As shipping coordinator, you will be reporting to our logistics manager, and your main role is to lead and coordinate projects/orders to our customers globally, efficiently, on time and budget and within established KPI's.

About the department
As part of our Global Procurement Department, you will join our logistics department, where you will work alongside 29 experienced logistics professionals, who manage project and product deliveries in a global environment to our customers worldwide, in close cooperation with our colleagues within Procurement, as well internal stakeholders in Sales, Project Management etc.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Issuing and compiling export documentation upon shipment
- Negotiating and procuring freight with our preferred forwarders
- Monitoring and following up on deliveries to customers and projects
- Participation to improve our processes
- Supporting our Sales department with guidance and transport offers
- Reporting of various kind
You have:
- Several years of experience working with global exports and international transport
- Thorough knowledge of INCOTERMS and all aspects of export documentation including Letter of Credit experience
- Experience with planning, freight purchase and invoicing
- Sound IT knowledge, and experienced working with MS-Office package
- Excellent skills in verbal and written English
