Shoe Technical Team Leader for our development team

The Department of Research & Development (R&D) in Denmark is looking for an experienced Team Leader. As Team Leader you will be a part of our specialised team handling conceptual prototypes within ECCO. As a Team Leader your will be responsible for managing the area of your division for construction and delivery of conceptual prototypes. You will play a central part in the conceptual development process, and be in close contact with our internal stakeholders within R&D in Denmark and Portugal as well as our design team and the production. Job Profile: •Ensuring that all development projects are following the plans and meeting the deadlines for approval of the conceptual prototypes for handover to R&D in Portugal. •Coordinating daily and administrative tasks within the team as well as supporting 2D constructors. •Coordinating information from the team and towards R&D Portugal. •Carrying out innovative development as well as continuously searching for new methods and materials for improving ECCO Products. •Assuming responsibility for quality of all prototypes made in R&D DK complying with ECCO standards and customers’ expectations. •Coordinating special projects (external companies, universities, internal project teams). •The position is based in Denmark. Traveling is to be expected up to 40 days per year. Qualifications and Work Experience: •Education as shoe technician or technical constructor (e.g. pattern making), or technical engineer degree. •Min. 5 years of experience within shoemaking and 2D construction. •Experience within production (manufacturing). •English in speech and writing. •Able to understand the full shoemaking process, the components, and its interdependencies. •Solution-oriented and able to quickly understand the essence of new challenges. •Able to work on various tasks at the same time and still observe the deadlines given. •Able to work in a structured and systematic way and good at planning.
