Join our international team of legal experts At European Energy we are 60 colleagues who cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects. Our projects are typically carried out in separate legal entities in the European Energy group, which currently consists of more than 250 different companies incorporated in a number of European jurisdictions. As our new Legal Manager, you will be part of an international legal team of 7 in our office in Copenhagen providing advice to the group as a whole. Your main focus is on projects located in our key markets, such as Germany, UK, Sweden, Poland and Denmark. Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts and provide legal advice in a number of different areas - Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts, e.g. share and asset purchase agreements, loan and other financing agreements - Researching national tariff and subsidy regimes as well as other regulations relevant for our business - Participating in and conducting complex business negotiations - Performing risk assessment and legal due diligence of projects and transactions - Drafting, reviewing and improving templates and standard agreements, and providing legal advice to other departments. High academic standards and knowledge of international commercial contracts - You hold a Master’s degree in law or commercial law with high academic standards, preferably from a university in Germany, Denmark, Sweden or UK - You have 1-3 years of relevant work experience, which has given you good knowledge of international commercial contracts and corporate/commercial law in general - You preferably have experience with company and/or construction law - You are proficient in drafting and negotiating international contracts in English. Ability to work in other languages, especially German, will be considered an asset As a person you are a skilled communicator, who makes legal concepts understandable to a wide range of recipients in a clear and precise manner. In accordance with established priorities you manage to prioritize your tasks as you focus on delivering high quality advice within deadlines – also when these are short. Additionally, your enterprising nature and good sense of humor makes you a valued colleague.
