Join Production IT – A global and experienced team
Production IT consists of 30+ colleagues in 4 regional competence centres around the globe. Production IT is a part of Grundfos Information Services (IS) organization with the overall responsibility for all IT in the Group. You will be part of the Development Team in Production IT Systems department, based in Bjerringbro Denmark, consisting of experienced colleagues in Denmark and China. Together, and in close collaboration with our product owners, we are the main driver for the continuous development and technical maintenance of the Production IT systems in the Grundfos Group globally.

Develop software that ensures a flawless production
As our new software developer, you will specify, develop and deliver software for applications for Group production sites globally. We are currently going through an upgrading process, which will run alongside your other daily tasks and is top of mind in everything we do.
In this job, you will experience your work full circle as you join processes from the very initial idea until your work has been installed in our production. Applications include marking, product quality test and configuration systems as well as web sites and services in connection hereto. As such, your work will involve both troubleshooting and fixing existing issues as well as brand new development as you:
- Support applications consultants within Production IT in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the application portfolio for all our production sites globally
- Specify and clarify requirements in cooperation with product owners, application consultants and our architect
- Carry out production 3rd level support
Your foundation as Software Developer
- You have a degree within IT, e.g. within Engineering or Computer Science, combined with 3+ years of experience as developer, giving you solid knowledge of software development and deployment processes
- You have experience with the SCRUM framework, and if you have the potential to act as SCRUM master in the future, it is an advantage, but not a requirement
- You have knowledge of C++ and perhaps C# and/or the future Windows platforms VSTS and Azure
- You have knowledge of software development on the Windows platform, preferably with MSVS, TFS, JIRA, Git.
- You speak and write English effortlessly, and it is a plus if you also master Danish.
Your orientation towards quality ensures that our production lines remain up and running. And you are a team player who enjoys working with international colleagues having a wide variety of functions. Grundfos is a large business with many interfaces, so you need a good understanding of business processes and the ability to capture, challenge and discuss new requirements. As development and change is a constant, you need to thrive in this kind of setting, maintaining and being a key player in ensuring an overview of the future development of a complex application landscape.
