Your responsibilities In your new role, you will be part of our international team with highly skilled and motivated developers. We offer you a chance to work broadly with all aspects of professional software development. Your main responsibilities will be to handle the core components in our fitting platform. The focus will be on the generalized functionality in hearing aids all within the fitting context. We work in different layers with an interface towards hearing aids. You will be part of creating a new platform, which consists of communications API, data-driven transformation systems - from high level to chip settings and simulating curve calculation. This is a challenging position where your tasks and responsibilities consist of developing and implementing high quality software. You are involved in the whole process from requirement specifications over design and implementation to final test and documentation. You have an understanding of the software lifecycle processes and strive to ensure constant care for architecture, code base and documentation. Could it be you? You may be newly educated with a degree at BSc or MSc level within software engineering, computer science or equivalent. We look for you with a strong record of accomplishment during your studies – preferably from your grades or final project. Preferably, you have basic knowledge in programming and working in Matlab. As a person, you thrive with having numerous stakeholders and close collaboration with your team colleagues. You are comfortable with an extensive interface where you strive for seeking a constructive dialogue and accommodate your colleague’s ideas and visions. We primarily use Microsoft technologies and tools such as C# and .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. In general, we use best practice within object-oriented software development like patterns and unit test. In Fitting Solutions, we use SCRUM as our daily development process.
