Are you into cloud service architecture and data science?  

Scio+ is an ambitious young company working at the forefront of data science in the food production sector. We deliver data driven insights to customers around the globe, insights that help them improve their business across the entire value chain.   To succeed in being a trusted partner for our customers we need more than just the right skills – we need the right people.  

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team located in Agro Food Park in Aarhus. In close collaboration with the rest of the team, you will be working on delivering insights that enable us to make a difference. We work as self–organising teams and strive to minimise process overhead. We succeed when we are able to give you and the team space to complete your work, collaborate and react responsibly to changes.  

You should have an open and positive attitude to your colleagues and work and you have a desire to make an impact on the world. We think your academic background is a Master in Computer Science or related field, but it is more important that you have the right competences for the job than a specific academic background.   

Your profile:

• You are already knowledgeable about cloud infrastructure or are looking forward to working with it
• You build software on the JVM using proven technologies such as Spring; you might even like Groovy
• You like getting involved in frontend development and you have some experience with JS technologies such as React.
• You enjoy working on open–ended ideas and concepts
• You are passionate about software development and applying new ideas
• You can explain your ideas to peers, domain experts and decision makers alike
• You are driven by a desire for learning and improving your skills
