About this job As a native applications engineer you will be joining our technical staff to work on our cutting-edge iOS and Android applications, changing the way people experience Issuu in the mobile environment. Responsibilities ?Build exciting new experiences on our iOS and Android clients ?Work closely with the product, design and engineering teams ?Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems ?Conduct design and code reviews Requirements ?BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience ?Excellent OO programming skills in Objective-C or Java ?Experience building applications in memory and bandwidth-constrained systems ?Passion for delivering great user experience ?Experience tuning performance of client applications ?Strong communication and documentation skills ?Work residence in DK/EU Desired ?iOS or Android SDK experience ?Ability to innovate and partner with our design team to build multiple prototypes quickly ?Experience releasing successful mobile applications to the Apple App store or Android Marketplace ?Experience with multiple mobile platforms Benefits ?Competitive compensation package ?A sleek mac and a pretty sweet desk setup ?You’ll be a part of Issuu, an amazing place with room for parents, vegetarians, geeks, weirdos and the occasional normal guy ?Expect to get better at tabletennis, Guitar Hero and cross-town running About Issuu Issuu is the leading digital publishing platform delivering exceptional reading experiences of magazines, catalogs, and newspapers.
