About this job As a native applications engineer, you will be joining our technical staff to work on our cutting-edge iOS and Android applications, revitalizing the way people experience issuu in the mobile environment. •Build exciting new experiences on our iOS and Android clients •Work closely with the Product, Design and Engineering teams •Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems •Conduct design and code reviews Requirements •Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent work experience •Excellent OO programming skills in Objective-C or Java •Experience building applications in memory and bandwidth-constrained systems •Experience tuning performance of client applications •Passion for delivering a great user experience •Strong communication and documentation skills •Work residence in DK/EU •iOS or Android SDK experience •Ability to innovate and partner with Design team to build prototypes quickly •Experience releasing successful mobile applications to Apple App Store or Android Marketplace •Experience with multiple mobile platforms Benefits •Competitive compensation package •A sleek Mac and a pretty sweet desk setup •You’ll be a part of issuu -- an amazing place with room for parents, foodies, geeks, odd birds and the occasional normal person •Expect to get better at table tennis, Guitar Hero and crosstown runs
