For our Research and Development department, within electronic controls, we are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join the team of 12 committed and skilled colleagues. Put your fingerprint on the software and system architecture You will join our R&D team where you will support and develop our existing platforms for communication solutions, throughout the entire product lifecycle. As part of the R&D team you will develop applications for District Heating’s electronic controls and network solutions. As such, you will participate in implementing our future communication solutions for our ECL Comfort 310 control platform. In addition, you will contribute to securing that our future control platforms are supported by the right system solution for our customers. More specifically, you: •design and develop real-time system solutions •develop and support existing communication solutions •participate in developing and establishing our future software and system architecture and platform •support product management as well as external and internal integration You can look forward to working in a supporting and harmonious team, where your decision will have direct impact on our customers’ and their satisfaction. Some travel days should be expected. Programming experience and IT/Engineering background You hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT / Software / Computer Science or similar. Besides your technical background you have experience with developing software for IT solutions, database development, and web applications (e.g. Python, PHP, node.js). Furthermore, you are strong in the use of the most common programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, C++, C.net) and frameworks (e.g. .net, Django, Flask, Spring). Moreover, it is an advantage if you have experience within the fields of Ethernet, field buses, Modbus, and LonWorks, but not necessarily. As a person you have an outgoing approach and great cooperation skills, which is needed when working in an environment with many stakeholders. You take a glowing interest in finding the right technological solutions to support our customers’ needs. You can communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English and Danish and if you master German, it will be an advantage.
