Description Medical Devices – Agile Software Development – Leadership As a part of Radiometer’s IT & Software Solutions department you will lead the ABL software development team. This team is responsible for sustaining and developing new valuable, user-friendly features for Radiometer’s ABL blood gas analyzers, the best-selling blood gas analyzers on the global market. Blood gas analyzers are paramount in treatment of critical ill patients. The 8-person ABL software team is using agile methods such as scrum, continuous integration and automated testing when developing software for the Windows-based ABL devices. Half of the team is located in Bangalore and takes care of manual and automated testing. The software being an integrated part of a complex medical device, your stakeholders will include other project managers, programs owners, product managers, our technical support team, experts within electrochemistry and fluid transport and in some cases also end-customers. The job To become successful, you must build strong leadership of the ABL software team and be able to efficiently and transparently balance short term priorities (e.g. incoming issues) and long term goals (e.g. delivering new strategic features such as Internet-of-Things connectivity). Your responsibilities and tasks will include: •Project management of ABL software projects •Daily management of the ABL software team (scrum master) •Participate in strategy work and improvement initiatives within IT & Software Solutions •Management reporting •Line and people management of the ABL software team Qualifications "Constructive Diversity" is one of our core values, and we believe that human diversity creates a dynamic and creative environment.
