Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Software Test Engineer to become part of our professional test team located in Denmark working in close cooperation with teams in China, Finland, India and USA. We specify, develop and maintain system tests for Danfoss Drives products for customers worldwide. Your areas of responsibilities will be to drive specific product tests in a system context (application, functional safety). You will develop automated software testing solutions and perform functional tests for verification and validation purposes.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have been working with electronics and/or Software Development, which qualifies you to program in Python, C#, Robot, TestStand, LabView, etc. You can be a new graduate brought up with the right training and you have a Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or another similar technical degree and you might be certified in ISTQB. You are familiar with Azure DevOps and version control in Git. If you have experience in PLC Programming and Test Management in Polarion this is an advantage. Furthermore, you have prior experience in functional safety system test and product validation. Finally, you have been working with test automation tools, HIL systems and you are experienced in industrial test automation. Your key tasks will be:
- Develop and execute drive/system tests based on customer specification
- Qualify and validate product software development
- Design, specify and implement drive system tests
- Project development and engineering support (agile cross-functional team)
- Review and documentation in relation to development and test tasks
