Solution Manager
Join our air pollution control team in a role that gives you influence over projects, from beginning to end.
About the role
You will find the right solutions to Customers needs in air pollution control. You will be involved in complex projects where, in close cooperation with the process and engineering team, your goal will be to optimize proposals and make sure that they will be transformed into successful executions. You will be supporting Sales Managers and Project Managers with your technical guidance throughout the whole lifetime of the project, and this will lead to them taking the right decisions to contribute to overall business results.
About the department
Our department integrates sales, processes and proposals with the aim to support sales and execution of the Fabric Filter business unit. It consists of a global team of experienced sales managers, process engineers, layout specialists and proposal managers. You can be located in our office in Valby (Copenhagen area), Denmark or in our office in Milano, Italy.
Key responsibilities:
- Project technical ownership during proposal and in execution.
- Develop solutions together with Sales Managers to fulfil Client requirements.
- Assist Project Managers when technical guidance is needed.
- Spare with specialists to optimize solutions.
- Assure correctness of basic engineering documents (flow sheet, P&IDs, layouts, data sheets).
- Selection of plant main equipment (dust transports, fans, compressors, etc.) and basic weights calculation for cost estimation purpose.
- Participation in meetings with Clients and Suppliers.
Qualification and Background:
- Educational background in Engineering
- + 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, cement, iron/steel, power or biomass-industry
- Language skills: English at mothertongue level
