COO, Global Sourcing, Team Value Management This role reports through the global sourcing organization which has responsibility for all strategic purchasing of this multi-billion Euro business. This role is part of the staff function in Global Sourcing, Team Value Management. Responsibilities: In this role, you will lead and project manage cross functional teams to develop and deliver value plans and/or design actions with minimal supervision, ensuring all areas of the business are fully integrated with the change. This includes: Track Set-up monthly performance tracking on Bill of Material (BOM) & Consumables costs between factories BOM and standard BOM/List Analyse cost structure differences and share/highlight opportunities to category management teams and factories to initiate actions Develop reports to monitor targets and status by commodity, by supplier, by value chain step and by function Compile data & presentation material for Business & Product reviews as needed Steer Define TVM targets Develop project business cases with Category Teams and manage through to implementation Liaise with Category Teams, Factory Logistics and Manufacturing to ensure TVM actions are promptly timed & implemented with minimal effect to production Fuel Project manages TVM teams in managing value and cost for a range of commodities through such tools as: Feature/Function Cost Benchmarking, Value Stream Mapping or special projects. Coordinate/Support/Facilitate TVM idea generation events and activities including deep dive design reviews, Value Added and Value Engineering (VAVE’s), plant line walks, supplier site idea generation events, benchmarking design gap analysis and design/process efficiency studies Co-develop solutions with the specific aim of increasing value / reducing the cost of components / production Key relationships will include: Category Management Teams Engineering Centre of Competence Product Management & Platform management Factory Management teams All factory based functions Finance You will initially start with the Blades area of our Business; as the role evolves you may apply the expertise to other areas. Qualifications: We are looking for an ambitious and experienced procurement/sourcing profile with a proven track record within an international organization. You have worked within an industrial company or a consulting firm dealing with complex and diversified procurement/sourcing assignments for at least 3 to 5 years. Furthermore, we are looking for a profile with a: Bachelor/MSc. Degree (or equivalent) in SCM &/or Engineering “Total cost of ownership mindset” Understanding of composites materials and its manufacturing Strong analytical, structured and fact based approach Persistent, hardworking, a can do attitude and process oriented track record Strong business & commercial expertise and excellent project management, negotiation and interpersonal skillset Competencies: Following skills and competences are expected: Extrovert, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Capable to comprehend complex solutions coupled with a strong analytical, structured & fact-based approach Able to pro-acti
