You join the Corporate Service department in Bjerringbro, more specifically the Spare Parts team. Here, we are 8 colleagues – four who are responsible for handling the master data in our system and making sure it is registered correctly and 4 Service Technicians who set the guidelines. We collaborate to ensure correct data and a short delivery time from initial request until the spare part arrives at the customer. As our new Spare Parts Assistant, you are in charge of structuring new service parts in Excel and creating and maintaining the data in SAP. You will be working on the whole product programme. You also handle the data and structure it according to our regulation, and you update technical documentation all the way to our sales companies and customers. Another important part of your job is to support our Service Centre in the Netherlands as well as our sales companies with regards to spare parts. You receive requests via phone and e-mail and make sure the entire spare part range is represented in the data. While spare parts are delivered to external end-users with whom you have very little contact, you handle various internal stakeholders and have a constant focus on customer and stakeholder satisfaction. “We constantly try to optimise our processes because the customers are waiting. This means that you have to be outgoing and influence the other stakeholders in the chain of delivery to optimise the processes in such a big organisation” Henrik says. What do you need to apply? You have a technical background such as Technical Assistant, Mechanical Engineer or similar combined with working experience with ERP, Excel and structuring data. Moreover, you are able to handle large quantities of data in a structured and systematic manner. You speak and write English fluently. Danish is an advantage. “As a person, you have to like structuring data and handling routine tasks where you get to optimise the processes. You are an excellent communicator and collaborator in a global context and are able to handle simultaneous tasks without losing the overview. Being able to prioritise is crucial as you will work with multiple assignments at the same time,” Henrik finishes.
