Job Description We are looking for a competent, dedicated and responsible Sr. Application Administrator to join an international IT organization in a leading biotech company. You will be part of a distributed / virtual team providing technical application support to Biogen’s global manufacturing organization The Solution Development and Management (SDM) organization is IT’s customer facing application support to Biogen users worldwide. The goal is to help people that are using our more than 500 applications get answers to questions, resolve problems, and educate and support them to more effectively use the application. You will be responsible for support of a subset of the application portfolio covering the global manufacturing operations working out of the site in Hillerod. Primary Responsibilities • Provide leadership for a small team I Hillerod and supervision for MSP partners that provide monitoring, incident management and enhancement services • Work together with QC lab groups by primarily supporting LabWare LIMS platform • Coordination of efforts between Laboratory Information Systems, its business stakeholders, QA, & relationship with the 3rd party vendors • Implement configuration changes, perform technical tasks, software installations, environment refreshes, backups, and performance measurement for supported applications • Review of standard operating procedures and system documentation as required. • (move under qualifications ? or change text to) Maintain updated knowledge of laboratory testing processes, identification and implementation of laboratory automation projects. • Prepare and follow business documentation, work instructions, SOPs and knowledge management information for supported applications. • Documentation of changes and configuration in appropriate change control and change management systems. • Monitor performance of MSP teams performance in VSM, provide point of escalation for problem resolution, coordinate issue resolution with Infrastructure and Vendors • Proactively identify issues and come up with resolutions to improve application availability and reduce outages. JIX1 *LI_DEN2 Location Denmark-Hillerod Job Category IT Requisition Number 25493BR Qualifications As a candidate for the job you will have knowledge of Quality Control (QC) laboratory environment with emphasis on LabWare LIMS. Ideally you have 3+ years of experience with a GMP lab environment. You are an effective communicator, have good interpersonal skills and a proven customer service background is a must. • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, ability to interact well with a variety of diverse customer groups. • Good organizational skills and an ability to effectively manage multiple and competing initiatives is required. • Strong technical and IT skills are a requirement • You must be familiar with Structured Query Language • Ideally you have worked for some years with Oracle DBMS systems and know how about troubleshooting techniques, advanced SQL skills, Oracle database structures, application server platforms and operating systems (Windows/Unix) • Experience in developing crystal reports • Experience in supporting validated, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant computer systems • 2+ years of experience with LabWare LIMS or equivalent LIMS system in the pharmaceutical industry. • Strong Business analysis and development skills including configuration of LabWare LIMS and LIMS Basic, and instrument interfaces. • Experience with other laboratory systems (e.g. EMPOWER, NuGenesis, ERM etc) is a plus. • ITIL foundation certification strongly preferred, ITIL process specialty certification(s) desired Education • An undergraduate degree in a relevant disciplin
