Job Description

Do you have a strong understanding of S&OP processes? And are you experienced in Demand Planning, forecasting and reporting processes? Then we have an interesting opportunity for you as Senior Demand Planner in our Neumünster, Hamburg or Nordborg location.
 
You will become part of Global Sales and Marketing in Danfoss Power Solutions, where you will report to the manager of global forecasting. You will join the forecasting and reporting team consisting of four employees located in USA and Germany.
 
In this position your key responsibilities are:

  • Lead, develop and ensure the execution of the commercial side of the Danfoss Power Solutions S&OP process, with stakeholders including sales, marketing, supply chain and finance  
  • Monthly update of the sales forecast in our demand planning tool (SAP/APO)
  • Lead and support quarterly processes for the update of the latest sales outlook
  • Generate yearly sales budget detailed split at regional and product level
  • Lead monthly tracking of macro-economic/market segment indicators and translates available information to realistic sales forecast data
  • Generate standardized and ad/hoc sales reports using tools such as Excel, SAP/BI-BW 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar
  • Significant experience in Demand Planning and S&OP Processes, preferable in FMCG, manufacturing industry or similar.
  • Problem solving & analytical profile with strong financial & commercial acumen
  • Experience in sales planning, forecasting and reporting processes
  • Usage of demand planning tools (Anaplan / SAP APO / Manugistics, or similar)
  • Solid technical skills (SAP/Excel/BI-BW/Power BI)
  • Experience in driving and promoting process improvements is desirable
